Surfing has been my passion since I was (7) years old- my life and my goals have always involved surfing. Part of my career has been surfing at one of the biggest waves in the world - Jaws here on Maui. I was part of paddle movement, when surfers started paddling into waves at Jaws, instead of being towed into them by Jet Ski. My career has since taken me to competing. I have recently traveled both nationally and internationally to compete in the Qualifying Series for the World Surfing League. My latest venture with surfing is teaching lessons here on Maui. We will really dig deep in proper fundamentals which is the key to progression in any sport. We will cover what makes a good top turn, paddling, positioning, foot work, surf boards. I'll tell you off the back, the key to a good off the top turn is your bottom turn. In this session we will go over key mechanics in developing these skills. I will provide everything you need for your surf session. You will have to bring your own swim suits, towels, sunscreen.
